| ASHIANA（路上で働く子どもたちのための職業訓練校）にて。裁縫のクラス。ここはカブールの中心地にあるメインセンター。首都で始まった復興により、地価が高騰し、この建物の賃借料は数十倍にもふくれあがった。そのためこのセンターは閉鎖されることになった。 A sewing class at ASHIANA, a vocational school for street children in Kabul. This school will be closed down, as a result of rising land prices due to the reconstruction of this city. |
復興の陰で、子どもたちのための場所が奪われていく。しかし、経済が復興し大人たちの職が確保されなければ、子どもたちは路上に出るしかない。子どもたちだけを見ていても、子どもたちは救われない。 Reconstruction masks the plight of many destitute children who will be forced to leave their shelters and work in the streets of Kabul. Priority lies in reforming the Afghan economy and providing parents of these children with work and income so that they can provide for their families. |
