| MMCCには、近所の小さな子どももやってくる。お兄さんたちの演劇やパフォーマンスにあこがれては、まねをしているのだ。現地スタッフはそんな子どもたちに、「歯を磨こう」のシナリオを書いてあげた。大きな歯ブラシ（写真右上）と大きな歯磨き粉をかついで練習をしている。 Neighboring children admire the performances by MMCC. These spectators often visit and imitate their performances. The children are rehearsing the play, Brush Your Teeth, which was written for them by MMCC staff. |
アフガニスタンで、子どもたちが夢中になって、なにかに打ち込むことは、日々、内戦におびえていた生活とは違う。子どもたちは今、夢と希望を持って、未来を見つめている。その未来を、守るのも壊すのも、大人たちだ。MMCCのスタッフは主に２０歳代。平均寿命は４０歳代といわれている。 MMCC encourages Afghan children by delivering messages of hope and dreams for their future. These children are strongly influenced by the overwhelming support they receive from MMCC. Most staff members here are in their twenties. It is said that the average life expectancy of an Afghan is in his forties. |
