| 北部のバダクシャン州の村で出会った子どもたち。自然豊かな北部は、本当に美しい。人の手がまだ届いていない自然が残されている。逆に言うと、学校や病院など、生活に必要なものも少ないのが現状だ。特に伝統的にイスラム教の強いこの地域では、女の子は不自由な教育を強いられている。
Children from a village in Badakhshan. Much of nature has been left untouched
in the north. Nevertheless, their infrastructures, i.e. schools and hospitals,
need to be improved. Residents in this area, in particular, follow a rather
more conservative, Islamic tradition. |
ケシャン（バダクシャン州）の女学校にて。学校に通う女の子は増え続けているが、女の子が通える学校は少なすぎる。布を張っただけの、日よけテントに黒板がひとつ。ここで子どもたちは交代で授業を受けている。 At a girls' school in Kashan, Badakhshan. Girls do not receive equal opportunities in education.
